Syracuse, N.Y. - Officials at the New York State Fair are doing what they can to keep visitors safe in this heat.
A heat advisory for Central New York, including the State Fairgrounds, goes into effect 11:00 a.m. Tuesday and will continue until 8:00 p.m.
They've added cooling stations and added more medical staff to help people out. Misting stations are also in place throughout the fairgrounds to help folks deal with warm temperatures. Fairgoers can also bring in their own water bottles and fill them up for free.
