Jamesville Corrections Officer Arrested

Jamesville, N.Y. - An officer at the Jamesville Correctional Facility has been arrested for lying about an incident involving the inmates under his watch.

Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies say that Giovanni Procino lied to his supervisors and filed a false report in July about an incident involving the management and security of inmates. 

Procino has been suspended without pay.  He had been a corrections officer for two years prior to his arrest.
