Pedestrian Has "Life-Threatening" Injuries in Mexico Crash

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Mexico early yesterday has injuries described as "life-threatening."

Oswego County sheriff's deputies were on the scene just after 2am and found the still-unidentified pedestrian with serious injuries.  Officers spoke with Travis Howard, who said he was in his pickup driving southbound when he struck the pedestrian.  Investigators don't believe speed, impairment or distracted driving were factors in the crash.
