Oswego County Sheriffs arrested a woman for assaulting a child. 57 year old Sheryl Hammond of 13 Melrose Ave, Apt. 4, Fulton was arrested regarding an incident incident that occurred on or about June 7-8, at a Town of Granby home where she allegedly caused harm to a child less than 7 years old.
She is charged with Assault, 2nd degree, a class D felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
Hammond was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
