Tuesday July 3rd around 10:48 a.m., Oswego Count Sheriffs arrested 30 year old Michael D. Calhoun Jr. of Baldwinsville, NY.
Calhoun was charged with Attempted Rape, 2nd degree, a class D felony and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest followed and investigation into an incident that occurred in the Town of Parish where he attempted to engage in sexual intercourse with the victim being less than fifteen years of age.
Mr. Calhoun was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of Parish Court on 8/14/18.
