Syracuse Man Killed After Independence Day Stabbing At Oneida Shores

Brewerton, N.Y. - A Syracuse man is dead after a stabbing at the Oneida Shores Park in Brewerton.

Onondaga Deputies say that 26-year-old Maurice Crawford was found unconscious and bleeding out in a car around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday outside the Emergency Room of Upstate Hospital. He died a short time later. 

Deputies say he was stabbed during a fight with another man at the Mckinley Ridge West Pavilion at the Park. 

Detectives are still trying to track down the man that stabbed Crawford. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling 315-435-3081 or by sending an anonymous tip via Tip411 smartphone app.
