Wednesday around 7:45 PM Cortland County Sheriff’s arrested 33 year old Pablo A. Rodriguez on a warrant.
While making that arrest, the defendant, at his residence was found to be in possession of two shot guns. One of the shotguns had been tampered with, the serial number having been removed. The defendant, who is not authorized to be in possession of any firearms or long guns due to previous convictions, was charged with 2 separate counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in addition to the original arrest warrant.
Rodriguez was taken into custody without incident. He was arraigned and sent to Cortland County Jail with no bail.
He is due back in Cuyler Town Court on 6/25/18.
