I'm not sure if today's Top 5 is really what you NEED to know, but I thought it was an interesting selection for Friday, June 22nd...

1)

IMMIGRATION CONFOUNDS THE NATION

The House tanked one of the three comprehensive immigration bills floating around, rejecting it 231-193. What, if anything, will get passed? President Trump would like to know, and he's leaning on Congress to get something done.

2)

GOVERNOR CUOMO WANTS TO KNOW: WHERE ARE THESE CHILDREN?

Cuomo seeking the whereabouts of some 700 kids in New York who were separated from their illegal immigrant parents. He thinks the Feds are sandbagging his requests for information, perhaps deliberately.

3)

THE WAGES OF SIN PAY WELL... IF YOU GET AWAY WITH IT!

Two California men who were running a massive synthetic marijuana operation got nailed in Federal court in Syracuse. Long prison terms, not to mention luxury cars, expensive jewelry and lots of $$$ all confiscated by the Feds

4)

ABC (SORT OF) BRINGS BACK "ROSEANNE," BUT WITHOUT ROSEANNE

"The Conners" will air Tuesday evenings this Fall. Same cast, same characters, same sets, but Roseanne Barr will have NOTHING to do with the show. The network hasn't said how they'll explain Roseanne's disappearance.

5)

IF YOU FELT A DRAFT, YOU WEREN'T THE ONLY ONE

Masquerading as a live television extravaganza, the NBA Draft was held last night. The Phoenix Suns had the first overall pick, and they selected Deandre Ayton from the nearby University of Arizona.
