Man Injured In Stabbing Following Dispute

On Tuesday June 19th, 2018 at approximately 1:05 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 2800 block of S. Salina Street in regards to a stabbing call. Upon arrival, Officers met with a 19 year old male, who was suffering from a stab wound to the back of his upper left leg area. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance for treatment. His injury is not considered to be life threatening.

The victim stated that he was involved in a dispute with a black male in his teens and that he was injured during this dispute. The incident occurred in the 100 block of W. Lafayette Ave.

Officers are investigating this incident, but there have been no arrests made at this time.
