A military helicopter was involved in a minor accident while taxiing at Griffiss International Airport on Thursday evening around 11:00 pm. A minor injury was reported by one of the helicopters passenger and that person was treated at a local hospital for non life threatening injuries. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office provided scene security throughout the night time hours. The scene will be turned over to the U.S Military so they can conduct a thorough investigation. There are no further details at this time.
