There a Job Fair to work at the Fair!
The New York State Fair is looking to hire hundreds of workers. That includes jobs like customer service, parking attendants and admission gate staff.
A job fair is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds. The job fair will run Friday, June 8, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers of the Job Fair say there are certain requirements that need to be met before applying for any positions.
Applicants must bring: two form of unexpired identification, valid and original New York State working papers if they are under 18 and a copy of their DD-214 forms if they are military veterans.
Applicants are reminded that inability to work all days of the fair will limit what jobs they might get.
The Fair runs from August 22nd through September 3.
