Syracuse Man Arrested For Stabbing A Syracuse Teen

Tuesday afternoon around 4pm, Syracuse Police responded to 100 Morningside Reservoir Driv reagrding a stabbing. 

Upon arrival, they met with a 19 year old victim, who was suffering from stab wounds to his left arm and a slash mark on his chest. The victim was treated and his injuries were not life threatening.

The victim said  he and his 15 year old brother say the suspect , 28 year old Adam Mika, of Syracuse, NY, sitting in a car, screaming. The victim told police, his brother approached Mika to see if he needed help. Mika then got out of the car and began chasing the 15 year old with a knife. The victim said he tried to help his brother and that's when he was stabbed by by Mika. 

Mika had left the scene when police arrived.  He later returned, and was taken into custody. 

Mika was arrested and charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Menacing in the Second and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
