Oswego Drug Task Force Makes Largest Ever Fentanyl Bust

Oswego, N.Y. - The Oswego County Drug Task force made their largest ever fentanyl bust when they hauled out more than $1.2 million in drugs out of an Oswego apartment.

Officers raided Jeremy Acosta West First Street apartment Monday afternoon and found 1,230 grams of Fentanyl, 324.3 grams of heroin and 62.1 grams of crack cocaine. The street value of the seized drugs is approximately $1,222,410.00.heroin and crack cocaine. The fentanyl alone was worth more than $1,000,000.

"It is very rare for us to come across this much illegal narcotics," says task force coordinator Inv. Charles Tonkin. "I can honestly say that we have never seen this much fentanyl before."

Acosta is charged with drug sale and possession felonies. He's being held at the Oswego County jail without bail.
