Mexico, N.Y. - The Mexico School District is dealing with, another, threat against one of their schools.
A 16-year-old was arrested for posting a picture on snap chat threatening a school shooting. Troopers say that a student photographed another student holding a firearm and posted the image with a caption “Next School Shooter.”
Both of the students were investigated by police, only one was charged with misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Aggravated Harassment, and Falsely Reporting an Incident.
The threat triggered a lockout at the Mexico High School at about 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. Police and the District dealt with a threat made by a 14-year-old against their Middle School over the weekend.
