Syracuse, N.Y. - A former Cicero Elementary teacher accused of shooting his brother-in-law to death was back in court today.
55-year-old James Ball is accused of shooting 40-year-old Christopher Ross inside of Ball's Chinkapin Circle home early last Independence Day.. Onondaga County Deputies say that the two men had been fighting earlier that night.
In court today, Ball submitted to a saliva swab to provide authorities with a sample of his DNA.
Ball is free on $150,000 bail.
