Albany, N.Y. - State Republicans are backing a Manhattan based equity executive to take on U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
51-year-old Chele Chiavacci Farley was picked to run against the Democratic Junior Senator from New York in the upcoming election.
Farley is a California native who's lived in New York for about half her life. Farley said she plans on raising $10 Million to take on Gillibrand and actually represent the people of New York.
