Pyeongchang, South Korea - A female Olympian from Oneida County will be the country's flag bearer for the Winter Games opening ceremony.
Luger Erin Hamlin from Remsen was chosen by her peers to carry the flag in Pyeongchang. She dominated in Sochi and was the first American to ever medal in the Olympic singles luge event.
Hamlin leads Team USA into Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium tomorrow.
