New York - The star witness in the corruption trial of Governor Andrew Cuomo's right hand man and a pair of Syracuse developers won't take the stand until next week.
Todd Howe admitted to Federal prosecutors that he laundered money through a shell company from COR Development executives Steven Aiello and Joseph Girardi to a bank account shared by Joseph Percoco and his wife. He's admitted that the payments of $35,000 were for Percoco putting pressure on State Governement officials so COR could skirt around using union workers at a hotel in Syracuse's Inner Harbor. Howe had been scheduled to take the stand yesterday, but will instead take the stand on Monday.
Percoco and Howe both worked with each other during the Mario Cuomo administration.
