Oneida, N.Y. - An Oneida man is dead after he was tasered by Officers Monday Morning.
Oneida City Police Officers say that 41-year-old John Havener was making threats against them and was tasered twice by officers. He was taken into custody and officers quickly realized he was having trouble breathing.
Police say he was rushed to Oneida City Hospital where he died.
Route 5 was closed between Seneca and Broad streets had been closed this morning as state police and city of Oneida police investigated.
