Liverpool Man Arrested For Stalking Syracuse Girl

Syracuse, N.Y. - A Liverpool man has been arrested for stalking a young girl waiting for her bus yesterday along LeMoyne Avenue in Syracuse.

Roman Brodyn is charged with stalking and endangering the welfare of a child.  Syracuse police say that Brodyn kept circling around the block where a girl younger than 10 years old was waiting for her bus.  She told police that the driver slowed down each time as he passed her and that she was scared.

Officers say the girl told her father -- who trailed the car to Oswego Street in Liverpool and called 911 to tell them what happened. Police say this isn't the first time Brodyn has done something similar.

He is being held at the Justice Center.
