Syracuse police arrest a burglary suspect in the act who was also trying to start a fire in the home he was stealing from.(TODD)
Police say that they found Andrew Maddison of Jamesville inside the Maplewood Avenue residence officers responded to Saturday evening. After arresting Maddison, officers learned the suspect had turned on the burners of the stove without igniting them, in what police believe was an attempt to start a fire. Maddison is charged with burglary, attempted arson, criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a controlled substance
