Syracuse police tracked down a teen-aged purse snatcher just a few blocks away from where he stole her property.
Officers responded to the area near Coleman's Restaurant Saturday night just past 9 and learned a male forcibly stole a woman's purse. With help from witnesses at the scene, police were able to find the robber less than three blocks away on North Wilbur Avenue. Police arrested 17-year-old Tyreek Lane of Syracuse for robbery and sent him to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
