June Fatal Head-On Collision Leads To Negligent Homicide Charge

A North Syracuse woman will face criminally negligent homicide charges in the deaths of two of her passengers in a town of Sennett crash this past summer.

Kadesha Dunham is accused of passing a truck in a no-pass zone the morning of June 17.  While passing the truck, Dunham's vehicle hit a pickup truck head-on.  Dunham's front seat passenger Terrell Jackson and 2-year-old ly-Leiah Noreault were both killed, and Dunham's 3-year-old son's injuries paralyzed him.  Dunham herself was seriously injured, and another passenger was hurt as well.  Police found no evidence of drug or alcohol impairment involved in the crash.
