Millions Of Dollars In Cocaine Uncovered After DeWitt Kidnapping

DeWitt/Syracuse, N.Y. - A kidnapping in DeWitt has uncovered the largest drug seizure ever in Onondaga County.

Last Friday Night deputies were investigating a domestic incident that happened on Cedar Lane where a woman was assaulted by her husband William Sullivan. Deputies say he forced his wife into the drunk of a car at knifepoint and drove her around Syracuse for hours.

While investigating the domestic Deputies became interested in a home on Sheridan Place in Syracuse.  When police searched that home they found 25 kilograms of cocaine, which has an estimated street value of over three million dollars.  Detectives also recovered 135 pounds of marijuana and $90,000 in cash.

Sullivan is facing a litany of charges related to the kidnapping of his wife and the historic drug bust.  The owner of the Sheridan Place home, Anthony Brigman, was also arrested and is facing drug charges.

Both men were denied bail for the bust and are being held at the Justice Center.
