Oswego School District on lockout for "Suspicious Image" on Social Media

All of the Oswego City School district buildings were put on "lock out" Thursday afternoon after a "suspicious image" circulated on social media.

The district says that a student made what they called "a suspicious and threatening statement" that appeared on social media.  The student in question has been located and is cooperating with police.  According to the district, the student was not onsite at any of the district's schools.  While the district did not believe students were in imminent danger, the lockout continued as a precaution.  After one hour, the lockout was lifted, allowing classes to continue.
