The Food Bank of Central New York has an exciting way for your cash donations to be multiplied, thanks to Bank of America.
The Food Bank is teaming up with Bank of America again for their "Give A Meal" initiative, where the bank will contribute $2 for every $1 that is donated to Food Bank of Central New York. That means that if someone donates $100, Food Bank will get $300. That will allow them to not only be able to feed more needy people, but to invest in some new programs to get food to more "food deserts," or areas where a traditional grocery store is not nearby.
In order for your donation to get matched by Bank of America, make your donation via the bank's special "Give A Meal" website. All donations are still tax-deductible, and all money will go to Food Bank of Central New York as long as they are designated as the recipient of the gift.
