Oswego, N.Y. - The victim of a brutal assault last month in Oswego has now passed away.
Jason Golas is accused of beating Deirdre Rogers-Howell within an inch of her life at a party on West Fourth Street on September 30s. The family of the Rogers-Howell took her off life support last week and she's since past away.
Oswego Police are continuing to investigate the attack. Prosecutors in Oswego County anticipate that Golas' assault charges will be upgraded.
