Jury Convicts Cicero Man In Assault of Elderly Man


A Cicero man awaits sentencing after being convicted of the attack and beating of a 69-year-old man in Oswego County.

A jury found Chad Burman guilty of second-degree assault in the attack of the man in June of 2016.   Burnman and Richard Boyle were arrested outside the Waterfront Tavern in Oswego.  Burman claimed he was acting in self-defense.  The jury spend four and a half hours deliberating before reaching a verdict.  Burman will be sentenced December 14.  Boyle's case is still pending.
