Successful Water Rescue Saves Person Stranded On Seneca River

Baldwinsville, N.Y. – A person is safe after firefighters rescued them from the Seneca River last night in Baldwinsville.

It happened just after midnight when people started calling 911 to report that someone was in the water near the Red Mill Inn on Syracuse Street in the Village.

Baldwinsville firefighters were able to get to rescue the person -- though it is uncertain how the person came to be in the river.  The age, name and gender, of the person is being withheld.
