A Rochester-area woman has now been charged with Manslaughter after police say she threw a barbell weight at him, killing him.
Cynthia Whitaker of Greece has been charged in the case after she got into a fight with the victim, 69 year old Michael Taylor. The 41 year old suspect threw a barbell at Taylor and struck him in the head. He was later found lying in a pool of blood in his kitchen. His body was discovered by his son.
Greece Police say their suspect and the victim have had a relationship for years, but Whitaker was not living with Taylor at the time. Officers say they have been called to the home in the past on domestic dispute calls.
