Oneida Motorcycle Crash Leaves Rider In Critical Condition



A man is in critical condition following a car-motorycle crash in Oneida County Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies report that Kevin Lichtenberger was on his motorcycle on Route 12 at the intersection of Steuben Street in the town of Remsen when he collided with a car driven by 86-year-old Earl Clary.  Clary entered the intersection from Steuben, and Lichtenberger struck the passenger side of the car and was thrown from his motorcycle.  Lictenberger was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital and is in critical condition.  Clary was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.  No tickets have been issued as yet, and the investigation into the crash is continuing.
