Accused New Jersey Murderer Arrested in Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. – A dangerous fugitive wanted for a murder in New Jersey has been arrested on Syracuse’s streets!

Syracuse Police say Alquan Council was wanted for opening fire on two men in Newark New Jersey killing one of them last month.

Officers say they found Council hiding out in a basement at a home on Ostrander Avenue.

Council was lodged in the Onondaga County Justice Center, and will be extradited at a later time.
