An Oswego County man is behind bars after police say he assaulted two young children with his fists and left visible injuries.
Sheriffs Deputies say 24 year old Joshua Hare of Mexico used his fists and some sort of object to hand out punishment to the two children who were under the age of seven. The children were struck in the head and other parts of their body.
Deputies say hare was some sort of father figure to the children and was living with their mother. Police say they're investigation of the assaults are continuing and they urged the mother of the children to take the kids to the emergency room for examination.
