Pair of Father's Day Shootings in Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police are investigating two Father's Day shootings.  Police responded to shootings on Richmond Avenue and South Salina Street yesterday.

The first shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot on South Salina Street. Officers say the victim didn't see the shooter.  

The second shooting happened on Richmond Ave just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday near Geddes Street. The first man is expected to recover and there is no word on the other.

Syracuse police are asking anyone with information about the shootings to call investigators at (315) 422-5222 or use the "SPD Tips" app.
