The popular milk bar at the State Fair has been saved. Tully's Good Times restaurants has taken over sponsorship this year, according to State Fair spokesman Dave Bullard.
The price for a cup of milk will remain at 25 cents. Controversy erupted last year when the previous sponsor wanted to raise the price for a cup of milk from a quarter to 50 cents.
Fair goers went into a tizzy about that and Governor Cuomo stepped in to subsidize the price of milk, but eventually stiffed the previous sponsors and only paid half of what they committed to.
