Oswego County Sheriffs Deputies have arrested an Oswego man for trying to smuggle contraband into the county jail in an unusual way.
36 year old Michael Joseph Tassie had been arrested by the State Police on an unrelated charge and was being processed into the county jail. He was caught with a container of chewing tobacco that was inserted into his anal cavity.
He's now been charged with Introducing Contraband Into a Prison, and he'll appear in court on the charge at the end of the month.
