Solvay Police are investigating a hit and run accident that injured a 15 year old boy. The victim was hit while walking down Cogswell Avenue Wednesday.
The victim was walking with some other kids when he was struck. The hit and run driver is described as a woman between 20 and 30 years old and was driving a gray or silver Ford Escape. Police say she stopped briefly and got out of her car, but drove off and didn't assist the victim.
The victim is expected to survive his injuries. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver. The public can contact Solvay Police at 315-468-2510. Surveillance video of the accident is below.
