Rochester Woman Makes False Allegation Against Cayuga Co. Trooper

A Rochester woman has been arrested after State Police say she made a false accusation against a trooper. State Police says the incident occurred in January after 36 year old Tiffany Robinson-Clark had been pulled over in Cayuga County for a traffic violation.

She was driving and talking on the phone to her husband, who's an inmate at the Cayuga Correctional Facility. She was on the phone the entire time of the stop and the entire encounter was taped recorded. But Robinson-Clark later contacted State Police claiming that the trooper made a racial slur towards her as he walked away.

Trooper consulted with the DA's office and recovered the entire taped conversation from the jail and it exonerated the officer of the false allegation.
