CNY Gets Millions To Fight Opiate Epidemic


(Albany, NY)  --  Central New York is getting millions of dollars to help fight the heroin and opioid epidemic. Governor Cuomo signed legislation Wednesday to invest in local addiction treatment, community prevention and recovery programs.  Central New York is getting $5 million out of more than 200 million to help stop the opiate epidemic in the state.  Cuomo said this investment hits the problem on all levels, prevention, treatment and recovery.
