A young heart disease survivor has out-jump-roped his classmates to toss a pie at one of his Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary school teachers today.
Natalie Holts says her first-grader David was highly motivated to win the competition and throw that pie. Plenty of folks joined David For the pie throwing event at APW.
David also managed to raise $3,300 the school's fundraiser. Natalie says David had surgery as a newborn to correct a heart defect that limited the amount of oxygen his blood got.
