A Southern Tier teenager has been arrested after a horrific case of animal abuse. Broome County Sheriffs Deputies say 18 year old Kyle Corbin has been arrested after cops say he stomped a chihuahua to death. The small dog belonged to his aunt who he was living with.
When she returned home, she found a pool of blood in the home and her dog was missing. Police later determined that after Corbin stomped the dog to death, he threw the dead dog into a creek behind the home.
Police say Corbin made up a story for his aunt and claimed that her home had been burglarized. Corbin could face two years in jail if he's convicted after being charged with felony cruelty to animals.
