Possible Tampering Of Evidence In Hit And Run

Syracuse Police are now investigating possible tampering of evidence in Tuesday's serious hit and run. Sources tell News Channel 9 a Syracuse firefighter is among those being looked at for possible tampering with surveillance footage.  No charges have been filed for evidence tampering in the alleged hit and run. Police say Peter Rauch was behind the wheel of a car that hit a 17 year old pedestrian and then drove off. Rauch has now been fired as an investigator with the DA's office. The teen victim remains in critical condition. The Oswego County DA is handling the case.
