Utica, N.Y. - Two people are dead another injured in a shooting in Utica last night.
When an Officer responded to the 400 block of Kingston Road around 7:30pm, they found a man on the ground shot and another man with a rifle.
The gunman fired two rounds at the officer, before running into a house and shooting himself.
Police found a woman as well shot multiple times and a two year old child.
The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the woman and gunman had a previous relationship and the child was theirs.
The man on the ground shot was the child's grandfather and is expected to survive.
