Town of Parish, N.Y. - New York State Police say a man is dead after a logging accident in the Town of Parish.
35-year-old Eric E. Gardner of Williamstown, was in a wooded area off County Route 11 cutting down trees with his father.
His father left the area for a short time, and when he returned he found his son pinned between two trees.
Heavy equipment freed the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
