Cazenovia College Will Become Home To A State Trooper Academy

Cazenovia, N.Y - Cazenovia College getting a new lease on life.

Governor Kathy Hochul says the college, which recently closed has been selected as the site for a new State Police Auxiliary Academy.

The academy is part of the Governor's plan to expand and grow the ranks of Troopers.

Hochul secured more than $66 million in the Budget to fund two additional State Police classes.

The leased space at Caz will be able to accommodate up to 275 recruits and 115 instructors and will host its first class in October.
