Students Who Attended ITT Institute Will Have Loan Debt Erased

Albany, N.Y. - ITT Students will have their federal loans forgiven says Attorney General Letitia James.

Over 4400 New Yorkers who attended ITT Technical Institute will have their federal loans cleared to the tune of 78 million dollars.

AG Letitia James announced the for profit educational service misrepresented the ability of students to get a job or transfer credits and lied about the program accreditation of ITT’s associate degree in nursing.

ITT had college campuses in Syracuse, Albany, and Buffalo.
