Jury In Robert Neulander Murder Retrial Begin Deliberations Tomorrow

Syracuse, N.Y. - The fate of Dr. Robert Neulander is in the hands of the jury. Closing arguments in his murder retrial concluded today.

This morning Defense Attorney Jonathan Bach during an almost 3 hour presentation, said there was no evidence of struggle. He said "Leslie was not helpless. She's about the same size as Bob. She worked out with a trainer three days a week. Leslie didn't even have a broken fingernail."

District Attorney William Fitzpatrick however showed very graphic photos of a gaping wound in Neulander's wife, Leslie's head along with massive black eye and bruises on her face. He said "This is from a fight where this woman was trying to save her life"

The jury will begin deliberations tomorrow at 9am.

If convicted 70 year old Neulander could spend 25 years to life in prison
