Restaurant Employee At PF Chang's Tests Positive For Hepatitis A

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Onondaga County Health Dept has confirmed that an employee at PF Chang’s at Destiny USA has been diagnosed with Hepatitis A.

The employee was diagnosed on Tuesday, Aug.18. The employee did handle food.

Anyone who ate at the PF Chang’s from Friday, July 31 through Sunday, Aug. 2 could have been exposed.

If you ate there during those times, you should monitor yourself for symptoms for 50 days after exposure.

Symptoms include the following:

  • Fever
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal pain
  • Dark-colored urine
  • Clay-colored stools
  • Joint pain
  • Jaundice

As of Tuesday, there is no longer a risk to eating at the restaurant.
