Investigators Share What Material Caused Evacuation Of Syracuse Post Office

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse Fire Department has identified the material that caused a post office to be evacuated.

Investigators say that pet urine neutralizer led to the employees being overcome at the James Street location. Two two employees were experiencing breathing problems Monday. The package was addressed to a post office box there and wasn't emitting an odor when hazmat teams arrived.

The employees were taken to the hospital as a precaution but will be OK.
