U.S. Rep Brindisi Says He Will Vote YES To Impeach

Syracuse, N.Y - U.S. Rep. Anthony Brindisi says he plans to vote Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump after concluding the president abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress.

Brindisi, of the NY 22nd has attracted national attention as a key swing vote on impeachment. He was a possible Democrat to split with his party on this historic vote, but looks like he will stay in line.

Meanwhile, Claudia Tenney who is looking to unseat Brindisi released a statement saying in part..."Brindisi promised to work with our President and Republicans, he promised not to be a partisan hack,” Tenney said. “Instead, he has gone to Washington and fallen right in line with the extreme, do-nothing democrats."

Brindisi said it’s clear that Trump endangered national security by asking the president of Ukraine for a political favor in exchange for a White House visit and the release of almost $400 million in military aid authorized by Congress.
